An unmodernised house gets a signature look.
This house belongs to my oldest friend. Although she and her husband had much of their own input in the design I helped to make it a reality. Whilst the house was always substantial there were many large rooms at ground level but nothing flowed. The brief for the kitchen extension was "bedouin tent" and having managed to eliminate the corner column replacing it with smaller cylindrical columns that sit behind loose linen curtains I think we achieved it even down to the tiny led lights in the ceiling that look like stars in the sky!
